Anybody using a cover for a convertible that is kept indoors. Thought i read somewhere that the flannel covers leave deposits on the fabric top. What brand and type are you using?
Thanks, it has the " black accent package" which gives black mirrors, black spoiler, black pony, black 5.0 badges, black wheels and on the hardtop the roof is black but obviously doesnt apply here.
Ok, I washed it for the first time ever today. Then sealed it with some polymer sealant. Contemplated polishing but decided against it as it wasn’t cleaned by my dealer.
Well I picked mine up at the dealer today. Its pretty nice. Ill put a picture up after I get it washed. As per my wishes they did not clean it at all. Already had some nice top down driving.
Well I did get another delivery update on the tracker last night. Was supposed to be delivered by 07/17. Now it says it will be delivered 07/21-07/27. So we shall see.
Well i just talked to my dealer. Had to call him on an unrelated matter so I ask if my car had been delivered. The tracker said it would be delivered between 07/11 and 07/17. He said it has not been shipped. Guess it is sitting (completed on 07/02)at the plant. I would expect an update on the...
Ive noticed there are slight variations of how the information is presented on the tracker system. Mine has said estimated delivery btween July 11th and 17th for a few weeks. The 17th was Saturday. Havent heard anything from dealer that my car is there. Maybe today?
I’ve had lots of nice cars. Here is my 69 Chevelle SS. I’ve owned it since 98 and have done countless projects on it. I have the original 396 numbers engine socked away. Currently is a 496 cu in with a 5 speed manual trans
Nice looking Torino. I like the color. I have another question about the car in front of the Torino. One can just see a bit of the taillight. Is that a bad ass Vega GT wagon?????
Well if you are going to have a detailer apply a coating then that depends. Are you either going to take it back to that detailer to maintain or are you going to maintain it yourself? If no then id say dont waste your money. I would never take my car to a detailer as anything they can do I can...
Im sure they wash it. However if you think the 18-22 year old they have assigned to prep your car looks it over for damage you are dreaming. The quicker he gets your car preped the quicker he can get back to giving all attention to his phone. The car will be inspected very thoroughly by me.
As...
Im guessing that shipping 04 means shipping out of Flat Rock plant 4 days after being built. About 4 days after mine was built i noticed thay added the eta delivery of 07/17 so Im thinking that is going to be pretty close.
I did call down to my dealer and discussed with sales manager about them...
Just a general question. When you drive your car somewhere with the top down, providing the destination is not a security risk, do you leave the top down once you arrive? Does it depend on how long your car will be parked there? Do you put it back up no matter what and then put it back down once...
Well I have three vehicles and they are all manuals. So One can guess what my opinion is. If one has to drive regularly in rush hour traffic then manuals can be a drag. On certain vehicle types I prefer an automatic but a Mustang isn’t one of them.
