I found a dealer allocation ordered in August that I reconfigured 10/23. Dealer changed order type to "sold" which hurried the process along 'cause my car was built 11/18. Tentative delivery date is 12/18. Magnetic, black OTT stripes, black roof, and track pack.

Build date 11/11 was told that it takes 4 weeks from build date so I've got two more weeks before the dealer gets it. But then again there is a build date of 11/18 and it's been delivered .

Congratulations - awesome car! I plan to put the same black & red stripes on my Triple Yellow GT as soon as I get an accurate measurement of width & spacing. Hopefully your car's not the one my sales guy Jeff told me was coming in for a customer this month, because that means I missed my chance to see it.

Question: how wide are each the stripes, i.e. width of red outer stripe, width of black stripe, width of center space, width of black stripe, width of red outer stripe, total combined width?

10/22 is not the only day affected. Mine was built on 10/13 and is also in limbo like yours and disneyfun1. I'm assuming, and that's just what it is, that the cars that where built the week of 10/12 to 10/23 are affected by what ever is going on?

I can't verify this. But from the statements that I've seen. This is my conclusion. Which I wouldn't put much wait on. Cause I have no idea if this is accurate or not. Just my 2 cents

My dad went to the shelby america plant in las vegas, nv a couple weeks ago to tour it after SEMA. he came by today, and said he talked to them out there and they were telling him there are a lot of issues going on at the plant with cars right now, and another they told him was the computer was saying the cars were running too hot when they were not. I cannot confirm or deny if this is a new issue that has just come out, but thats what they told him.

My dad went to the shelby america plant in las vegas, nv a couple weeks ago to tour it after SEMA. he came by today, and said he talked to them out there and they were telling him there are a lot of issues going on at the plant with cars right now, and another they told him was the computer was saying the cars were running too hot when they were not. I cannot confirm or deny if this is a new issue that has just come out, but thats what they told him.

No offense, but it doesn't surprise me that Shelby American would say such things about the Ford-built GT350. The GT350 is a direct competitor to their "Shelby GT"; which has REALLY struggled from a lack of sales - from what I understand. Any negative publicity that they can spread about the GT350 would help them tremendously. Plus, they wouldn't have any greater knowledge about the GT350 than anyone else at this point.

My cousins friend that is a higher up at flat rock swears he can't tell a word because ford doesn't want the word to get out but he keeps saying it's the seat belts. But I'm not buying it. I received a email stating my car wasnt effected by the seat belt or the date they say it was built. So I give up trying to find out anything anymore. I've heard so many stories I don't care at this point.

I also went to flat rock Saturday and almost all of the shelbys that were 3 rows wide and 20 plus deep were gone. Who knows anymore. I stayed until the security told me I had to go. One more thing. Why are security women fat? I mean seriously what could she possibly do to anyone?

Congrats! At least some people are getting their cars. But I'll never understand why later vin# are getting theirs before others that were built over a month ago without reason.
