Last date to order a '20MY GT350?

I suggest you try to configure a 2020 GT350 or GT350 R on Fords Mustang website. A couple of weeks ago , I could configure all Mustangs except the GT350 and GT350 R. I got around the difficulty by going to Ford vehicles and then was able to configure a GT350 R. Maybe Ford was trying to tell us something about the ability to order GT350 Mustangs. I say Ford should just say as long as we have production lines configured and production of the 2020 Mustang GT350 Mustangs is progressing well lets just save some money and produce what we will call a 2021 Mustang GT350 after a certain date this year before the plant is reconfigured for the rest of the 2021 Mustangs. The collectors and enthusiast would love a limited run for final production.

He's after a standard GT350......I know he fell in love with the HEP white n blue, but the chances of getting one of those are slim to none. I'll double check his other color preferences

There is a Heritage Edition standard 350 at Encinitas Ford (North County San Diego) that has been in the showroom for over a month. Its right next to a 500. Says ADM but Im pretty sure they will let go at sticker or slightly above. Havent checked in a few days, probably still there.

A heritage 350 is a no brainer.

I gave-up my special order in Austin, Texas. I couldn't wait to get one because I knew the plants would be shut down for awhile.
My order is still being built due to the pandemic so it could be another 3 months till it's delivered to the dealer (Aug 2020).
build: 2020 GT350, black less stripes, leather seats, tech package, carbon fiber dash

He reached out to me and said they were trying to get a heritage allocation. I said that you didn't want a heritage allocation, but instead a GT350 that can be ordered.

Just found this

I had actually called that dealership when I was looking for a GT350HEP. They told me that the car has been on their website for awhile and that they had multiple people calling about it. No deposits were being allowed and they told me that they would call everyone when it arrives. I feel like they are just going to go with whoever wants to pay the most above MSRP.

I called them 2 weeks ago so I can only imagine how many more people called since then.
