List of mods.

S/W LT Headers
Ford Racing X-Pipe
Roush Axlebacks
VMP Tune
Roush CAI

Race star skinnies 17x4
Race star rears with M/T 305/45/18

Here was the weather for the day and my slip.

This was my first run with these mods... im concerned about my 60 foot. Im holding my rpms a little above 2k, if i go any higher my rears start to break loose. (Im an auto with 3.55's) opinions?

I feel like the DA is having an effect, my goal is 11.9 with current setup.

Thanks.

Good slip. I'm auto 3.55 gears also. Are you leaving as hard as you can? Proper burn out? I was able to cut low 1.8s on 245 M/Ts. Getting that sixty down would be worth another tenth or two.

Mine seems to ET better leaving it in drive with the T/C off at just above idle.

What RPM does it shift at?

I found the best results were to leave off idle with the stock converter. What gear are you crossing in and at what RPM?

Seems like I go right into 4th gear right before the trap.. I really need to pay attention more next time. I launch at about 2k, my tires start slipping any higher :( I am doing good burnouts, I wonder if I need to lower my rear psi more.. I didn't do that really because I'm not spinning at 2k.

Is that DA having an effect ?

Footbrake at 1500 and try to snap the gaz just before leaving the brake = 1.72 of 60'

No better than 1.8 for me. It's hard to get a good 60' with the stock converter.

That will hurt you there. You're crossing as you fall out of your powerband. That's one reason too much gear hasn't worked well since 2011 with these autos. 3.15's/3.31's are the optimal choice.

I use the same type of launch. 1500 and flash it on the second yellow.

Yeah, can't really help it though. Unless I change gears of course. But I've seen cars with my mods in 11s.. Lol. Granted their DA was very low.

It's not that big a deal. Just enjoy the car and yes 11's is definitely obtainable.

I think the 12.3x is great in 2415 DA. Of course the DA is killing you. If you were at sea level you would probably been between 11.9x and 12.0x.

Your are right. According to Dragtimes, the run will be a [email protected] at sea level.

As others have said that's a good time considering the DA, but there is room for improvement in the 60', flashing the converter will usually result in a better 60', you need to play around with it and see what's right your your car. Also, 275 dr's would propubly be a little quicker than the 305's.

Is your tune flex? If not, E85 would drop your times a little as well IMO.
