Online Configurators

I've had a couple of different thoughts in the past few weeks that I wonder if anyone has ideas about:

1. Does anyone know of a way to access a previous years online configurators on the Ford website? I've tried through archive.org and unfortunately it doesn't work. I'd love to get the proper generated image for my car to use on my head unit! Unfortunately all I can access now is the tiny image on the Ford Owners site of my car.
2. Any ideas on how to save/archive a configurator to be used offline or on another site in the future? I tried out HTTrack but didn't have any luck (though I may not be using it properly).

I'm guessing the answer to both of these is probably no, but maybe someone smarter than me can figure it out!
