Cheers for this pal, Looks like the Steeda one is a good purchase, Not as light as the say though. Are you gonna weigh the old and new when you fit it?I've been thinking about this for a while. Didn't realize Steeda had a driveshaft until now. Digging into it a bit more, it appears it is made by Spicer/Dana who I believe make the S197 one piece driveshafts for Ford Performance. Should be a quality unit. I just ordered one.

I'm sure I'll weigh it but need to remember to come back and post it here.Cheers for this pal, Looks like the Steeda one is a good purchase, Not as light as the say though. Are you gonna weigh the old and new when you fit it?

PROS:What's the benefit of a 1 piece or the OEM?
But I thought Steeda said no increased NVH?PROS:
Lighter weight for less rotational mass
CONS (imo):
Moocho increase in NVH
Easier to damage
I have a one piece Shaftmaster and have no issues with NVH. It actually got rid of a clunking noise I was getting at low speed start & stops. But I thought Steeda said no increased NVH?
Im sure i read a post where someone weighed one and it was 21.5 lbs which is not as advertised on there site. wanted someone to confirm actual weight before i ordered. if its 17lbs ill get oneSays 19 lbs lighter than OEM driveshaft. OEM = 36 lbs. 36-19= 17 lbs.
