on-center steering lightness

i do use sport mode steering feel on '18 GT PP1. however, it's always felt a little too easy to turn back and fourth at or just off center. is there a fix for this, is it programming or mechanical. it is responsive if i tip off to the left or right of center, just seems too light

It's called "Track" mode.

How many miles?

My '16 started to get a tramlining feel to it when the struts were worn out. New struts solved it.

My sport mode steering is pretty tight. Are you talking in track situations or daily driving

On center feel is largely your alignment settings. Try a smidge of toe-in on the front wheels to make the center steering a bit heavier.
