On Board Diagnose (OBD) system like VCDS?

Hey,
For my other car, a VW Beetle 2.0TSI, I have an original Ross -Tech interface to check diagnostics and adjust settings . An ideal package and also reasonably affordable.
Is there such system also for the Mustang ?

I 'm not looking for a handheld scanner but a windows interface where also the TPMS sensors can be programmed with.

I 've been searching the net and found Ficom , Focom , Foscom , Focccom but do not think this is gonna work.......

Great question, I also have a Ross Tech OBD2 cable laying around after I sold my Audi A4 for my Mustang.

IDS is really the only thing for Ford that will do that.. I don't have experience with the others.. but I use IDS all the time.. its nice because I can update modules and I can initiate the TPMS learn routine very simply.. with out all the craziness involved without it

Fords have some adjustable parameters.. and those are in a menu in IDS.. anything other than whats in the menu is something you have to start editing a built data.. I use VAGCOM.. I have it myself.. and from what I have seen there is not much like it on the ford end.

Hi.. no .. REAL IDS is only in one version.. a real IDS yearly license is 850.. if you get IDS and can do what you want in 3 days then you're good.. there is a free 3 day trial.. after that though.. your out..

Those two items I have seen. I have no personal experience with them though.. so I couldn't give an opinion on them..

The other parts of IDS is the VCM II.. it is 1200 and up.. but it is aways easy to sell.. and you really won't lose money on it.. its a good thing to have.. you can read codes and program your modules.. and update them without dealer intervention..
