Hi,

First mustang, first new car :)

Hit 8200 km (around 5100 mi) and got my Oil life at 5% message yesterday. This will be the first oil change. Can't get an appointment for another week and probably going to do approx another 800km (500mi) over that time frame (driving to work).
Does anyone know if Oil life hits 0% and I keep driving for a bit, if it could potentially effect my warranty? Asked the service center rep over the phone and did not get a very convincing answer. Searched the forum but could not find anything on this so apologies if this has been asked before.

Any thoughts?

They have to prove it to avoid warranty. Mostly they won't unless you are significantly over due for one.
