Status to relased I believe means its ready for transport. In other words, what ever it was being held for is cleared and should shortly be loaded for shipping

OK so Ford said today the car was moved to the Michigan Plant, I was like for what, damage? They said I guess it was logistics to have the car picked up by train i think?

Is shipping info updated as it scans or does the system update once a week only? And if so what day is the best day to get info?

It updates when there is a change in status. For example, I don't know when my car left Flat Rock, but I knew when it was in the rail yard in Chicago. I didn't get another update until it was at the trucking company in Minnesota 3 or 4 days later (where it sat for at least 8 days before magically showing up at the dealer 200 miles away).
Your dealer should have the best information on where the car is at any given time, as well as when it finally has hit the last step and actually has been shipped to the dealer (and what day it should arrive).
With the current rail and trucking space shortages, you can't count on the ETAs. Miine was due by the 10th, then the 26th - and it arrived on the 14th, after traveling 930 miles for a trip I could drive in 537.

For some rail companies there is, but mine wasn't one of them. If you have the number of the rail car, you can track it online. Somebody else here will have to tell you how that works (or maybe do a search here), because it wasn't applicable to my situation.

Yeah so far I got the same luck. Never seen my window sticker with those links and car stuck on the lot for a month. Maybe if I get the rail # and someone posts the link I might get lucky this time.

My info now is car is going by Convoy not train. It's Voith Industrial Services Inc. Now is there anyway to track this convoy? I know we could track rail. Does the convoy document where it is. For instance when by rail and they keep scanning there's a paper trail.

The answer is still the same as for all the other wherizzit questions. At this stage, your dealer is the best source of information. Ask him to get on the Ford vehicle visibility website and run a report for your VIN. It will tell you stuff like whether it's in transit and to what company, vehicle location and status to that minute.
