I have no idea what the cost would be but, if I got new visors through replacement parts would they include the stickers?

Every OEM manufacturer I have seen has the labels affixed before they are boxed. They don't want to leave it up to the tech at a dealer, or an end user to forget about them.

I'm planning to have a sticker made with some type of logo on it, FORD, 50 YRS, MUSTANG, or the running Pony.

If you remove the stickers and take it in for service, is the dealer required by law to reinstall new ones?

If the dealer applied anything to my car without permission I would be a very unhappy camper..... addle:

If you looked, all of the sun visors were for older model (79-93) cars.

California requires a front mounted license plate. I've seen the after market hide a mount system...very nice. I will more than likely get one of those.

Here's the issue. how do you stop the knuckle head over zealous dealers from drilling holes in you front bumper?

The last car I bought, I told the sales rep, NOT to mount the front plate holder, that it was my issue if I got a ticket for not having a front plate.

Then...they drilled and installed anyway. I was so pissed! The dealer claimed it was the LAW! that they had to do it. B.S.

I've had other dealers say fine...we won't drill!

If I hadn't already signed the doc's, I would have walked away from the purchase.

Good news: You can have them put your request right on the VOC or DORA. Alternatively, you can beat them to the dealership and not let the car leave your site. I might be so anal as to print out a note saying: "DO NOT DRILL MY FRONT BUMPER FOR LICENSE PLATE" or something to that effect and tape it right to where they'd do it on the bumper.

(Potentially) Bad news: My Nephew said that he thinks they come from the factory with punch outs on this model, so there is no drilling necessary. You just pop out a pre-made hole in the bumper. I didn't get a chance to check it on the demo/training model they had myself, but I could see them doing this.

If anyone could confirm/deny that, I know I'm not the only one that would be grateful!

You're right. AM is usually on top of things and probably won't be too long before they have them for 2015's IMHO.

I have it on my contract, also was on the contract for my 12 Boss. Look close above the plate for the pilot/punch-out's, I used a boltless plate holder.

I didn't get a chance to prevent the dealership from mounting a bracket to my 2013, but this doesn't surprise me a bit. Now the questions are: How long will they hold up if not popped out and are they ugly enough that you may want to do a regular plate mounting, just to avoid seeing them?

I understand it's a federal mandate, but don't understand why quite honestly. .

Because we live in a nanny society, most people seem to want to govt to take care of everything for them...

I'd be ok with stickers that were easy to remove or some sort of cling application that just peeled right off. I think most people can see it once and are clear about the airbags and children, etc.....(I assume this is airbag warning stickers?). Always hated them and assumed they were not removable in my cars. Never even tried.

I might tell them you will drill yourself and you won't take delivery if they do it. Tell the manager over and over. Still might happen though, then its up to you. I also would warn them over and over not to put their stupid dealer decal on the back bumper. It astounds me how many people drive around being a billboard for their dealer. I won't take delivery or I have them remove it on used cars. It's obnoxious and looks like crap.

Well if the have the locations for drill at the factory...it is what it is. I don't like it though.

As long as I can have the dealer NOT KNOCK OUT THE KNOCK OUTS, we'll stay friends.

I think what I may do is tell the dealer that I don't want the to drill and mount, and that I won't sign the bottom line for sale and delivery until they have completed their prep detail and I do a walk around of the car.

I've seen cars from other states that the dealer actually drills holes into the truck sheet metal and mounts their name plate. Can you freakin imagine that?
