Oil weight change

Hello Friends,

first off: apologies of this has been asked before.
Ich used 5w30 in my Mustang GT 2015 ever since the swap from the factory fillup, the reason behind this was as follows:
1. Since i imported a US GT i had no reasonable waranty anyway (i live in Germany)
2. I drive the Autobahn for longer periods, Sometimes Well above 250 kmh (deactivated the Speed Limit, should be around 155 mph)

Now having read even more about oil, and seeing that the Consensus was to use 5w20 i wondered if i could simply Switch Back to 5w20 from 5w30 fully synthetic. And might this provoke the dreaded BBQ Tick?

Based on your post, you have never had the tick right? If so, I wouldn't worry and would feel comfortable switching from 5w20 to 5w30 whenever.
