I really don't know ... but guess it's possible if Ford's inferred oil temperature model takes that into consideration. If so, I think you'd only see a difference on the track because the coolant system thermostat controls the coolant temperature on the cool side of the radiator (which is where the oil cooler gets fed coolant from), and just cruising around town I doubt the thermostat is wide open, so it's able to control the coolant temperature without requiring a bigger radiator.GT- Given that PP cars have better cooling do you think they are "mapped" different so the ECU reads it differently and thus will record lower temps on the oil temp gauge?
