So i went to install my oil pressure gauge recently and realized that factory oil sensor is a course thread, but the 1/8 npt fitting i has was fine thread. I bought the npt fitting to put my stock oil sensor back (as wasn't sure if car would go into limp mode if it couldn't read oil temp/pressure) and install aftermarket oil pressure gauge. So when I'm looking to get proper npt fitting what would I search up exactly, I'm not super familiar with this stuff and just trying to get what I need this time instead of having it all ready to go and not have what I need.
I was wondering if M8 and M10 fitting mean the m10 is fine thread and m12 is course thread type thing, any help would be greatly appreciated just getting stressed trying to get this sorted and losing interest fast lol. Also I shouldn't have to drain oil out when removing the sensor as it's higher up on the block, i just did oil change that's when I tried to hook it up and found it had fine thread npt fitting so hoping I don't have to wait till next oil change to try new fitting out.

Just adding more to explain you a bit of connection sizes...
In the NPT world, there is no coarse or fine thread - they just go 1/16", 1/8", 1/4"... and so on. Please do not try to measure them because they make no sense at all.
In regards to metric connections, like M10 and M12 you are referring to, these have the same threads as any metric fastener. The first number is the size and the digits after the "x" is the pitch.
i.e. M12 x 1.25 means an M12 size and a 1.25 pitch. You can also have M12 x 1.5 and M12 x 1.75, so be careful with the pitch because you might end up cross threading if using the wrong bits.
Here is a tip: if you are unsure about the connection type you have, in case the threads look tapered (smaller diameter where the thread starts) you have an NPT type, but if they are straight and there is an O-ring at the end of the threads then it is a metric connection.

If you are in a hurry with your car and do not have the time to wait for the part that I previously shared, go to your local hardware store and buy these:
1 * 1/4" NPT female tee (or a 3-way female and 1 * 1/4" NPT nipple if they don't have one like the one below)

1 * 1/4" NPT male to 1/8" NPT female bushing, this is where your aftermarket gauge will plug into

Use PTFE thread seal tape and you are all set.

I installed a triple pod in center dash like gt500, put oil temp, oil pressure and coolant gauges in it. I know i can see oil temp and coolant temp on dash cluster but didn't really know what to use as I use my tuner to watch afr and fuel trim etc. So figured I'd at least be able to see the stuff easier on dash and oil pressure is just something you should be able to see regardless but my 2020gt didn't have the 2 gauges where vents are so went this route.

good idea - mine came with oil press and vacuum (not sure why I need to keep an eye on it)

Oh yeah, based on that info., you’ve definitely got some 10s in it.

Yeah that 11.3@126mph i also ran 11.4 twice so quit for the day knowing that's all I'd get that trip, I've since added some rear end stuff to tighten it up like adjustable toe links with spherical bearings, lower control arm spherical bearings so no rubber is bit noisy at times but worth it. I went once this season without nitrous but with my headers and re-tuned on 93oct and ran 11.3@125mph just on motor so I know it definitely has a 10.9 in it at least. Lol

Just a heads up, that 1/4 glowshift piece isn't going to work on your car, unless you are using other fittings along with it. 2018 and up are not 1/4.
