I'm in blue ash area. Just got my mustang a week ago. I haven't been to fuel but I heard you have to get there real early to get a spot.
Cool! Congrats BTW.

I'm going to try and get up early and check out Fuel next weekend.

Avoid Krieger Ford in Columbus, Ohio (Morse Road) like the plague.

Germain Ford off Sawmill Road is and has been amazing. Craig's my service advisor. Tell them Aaron sent you.

I have a few mods, specifically BMR springs and Eibach sways. When the weather dipped cold about 1.5 months ago, my front end started making a popping noise. Since I had put sway bars on recently, I put it on stands and took a look, it was the accordion boots on the steering arms.

Since I work 10 min from Krieger (30 from Germain) and the issue was in no way related to my suspension parts, I figured I'd try them. They said they're slow and I can bring it in whenever. Dropped it off and got a call the next day saying that the noise was a direct result of the suspension mods. When I challenged them, they started making things up saying I had aftermarket end links (don't), and that they don't know how to work on anything but stock parts, and that they see I usually go to Germain Ford and even THEY were charging me extra labor hours for alignments and things due to my aftermarket suspension. All false.

I called Craig at Germain, told him the whole saga, I apologized for "cheating" on him. He laughed and said get it in here asap and I'll take care of it.

1.5 hours later I'm at Germain, he has their lead tech at my car in 5 min, Tech (Jason) lays down with a flashlight and after a few turns of the wheel to replicate the noise, says, yeah the boot is coming out of the rack and binding then popping to get back to form. Not caused by suspension at all, you're not even low. :) I'll call the tech line to see if this has been reported before, or if there is a revised part, either way I'll order the revised or a new replacement. When it gets in, come back and we'll replace it. We BS'd about cars for about 10 min and off I went. Total time, 27 minutes.

It's really amazing what a good dealer relationship can do. Just hoping this can help someone.

its so sad that this kind of stuff happens. You would think on a new car they get paid by ford for defective parts. So why dealers try and blame aftermarket stuff instead of just fixing whats wrong bugs the crap out of me.

Germain Service

Good to hear! I'm dropping my car off with them on Monday to have the door realigned. it was off when I bought it but I didn't notice for a couple of days (I was excited...). The bottom edge of the passenger side sticks out about an inch from flush.

I didn't buy from them because they didn't have what I wanted. I really wanted to though as the sales staff was also pretty great. I ended up traveling to Troy Ford and have nothing but praise for their sales peeps, too. Unfortunately they are a good drive from Columbus and have bankers hours for the service department.

I've known Bob Crooks (in service) for years and he's a good dude. However I can't fathom why they need to keep my car for 3 days or more to adjust a door....

I took my Mustang to Germain for the recalls/reprogramming of the 3.7L throttle body and have had a great experiences. I've dealt with Keim, Ricart and Coughlin in the past - all of which had some kind of issue. I like the guys at Germain and they like the sound of my V6 with a GT exhaust (they seem somewhat mod friendly). Plus it's fun to see what classic cars they have in their bay(s).

Yep! Saw them all! It seems the GT350 doesn't ever move. Anyone ever go to the U-Stor-It place on the corner of Wilson and Fisher? Its fun to check out what cars they have on a boring day.
