Anyone know of a decent shop in the Columbus area that does good exhaust work?

I want to have my Mak Cat-Deletes installed but all the big name shops won't touch it.

Midas, Meineke, Tuffy, Firestone and Monro are a no go. I tried Mad Hatter Muffler, no go. Gearhead Auto wanted to remove the manifold to weld (idiotic). Tomorrow I'm going to visit Exhaust Works and see what they say.

Just to follow up, I did find a shop:

Oz's Discount Muffler LLC - There's no website per se but they have a Facebook page.

Guys were easy to work with and did good work.

United Ford Owners Autocross in Columbus, Ohio rain date is October 15th at Circleville Raceway Park in Circleville, Ohio. It's a cart track (mini road course) and we are pairing with the MORPCA (Mid Ohio Region Porsche Club of America) for this event due to venue cost.

9AM arrival time for registration, tech, course walk and drivers meeting, 10AM first car off.

Expect at least 10 runs, and if the weather is good, we'll go until people get tired.

$35 for non members (due to venue cost) and $30 for members of either club. UFO membership is $15 and you get a free shirt :)

Super noob question here, is there anything else you need to do to the car other than wear a helmet to be able to track it in an event like this? I have an Ecoboost, automatic, non PP model, and from all the videos Ive seen it looks so fun to do an even like this!
Just a good attitude! We have loaner helmets available too.

We have tons of good drivers that can ride with you to give pointers and suggestions. Or better yet, have me or someone qualified (ask me) drive your car to show you what it can do. You will be shocked seeing/feeling what the car can do as it sits, in the hands of a good driver. You can also ride with me or that other person (as many as you want) to get an idea of techniques, lines, etc.

Come on out! It's a great way to get a feel for the car, push the limits, but do so in a safe and controlled situation. Very few places to damage your car (unlike the road/HPDE), autocross is really only hard on tires too, so its all around a safe, easy way to have a ton of fun.

nope! sometimes they have loaner helmets too. just depends on the event
