Official Tesla-Style Head Unit

I could make AA to show up directly on boot and you'll have Android Auto directly firing up like a real AA HU. I'll try to make another demo of AA today I'm really confident I can port it to this unit eZ pZ lol.

If you compare Drivemode to AA, the GUI on Drivemode is much nicer, IMHO

I haven't tried Drive mode yet. Actually AA is based on Drive mode. I guess it's the same just got a refresh and new name... Kinda like "OK Google" and the "Google Assistant" on Nexus and Pixel devices.

yeah, when I plugged my phone in USB to the TU, it fired "Drive Mode" up, but I'm not sure if that's the same as the app "Drivemode" in the PlayStore, I didn't play with it.

Lol I wish I could this for a full time living haha. Technology in cars is my favorite hobby. I already have a big project for this unit. (Remove the start button and start the car via the HU) :gossip:

I would be worried about the head unit taking a dive for some unknown reason and then you cant start your car. Maybe relocate the button for backup reasons, under the dash or something. You know like Biff had done to his 46' Ford....

No worries I got everything pictured. I can also start the car or kill it every where in the world (even if they had the key it wouldn't start). I built something like that back then. It's pretty simple. My wife would start my car in the morning with her phone while we were 10,000+ miles away.
