Kevin08 that looks nice and cozy man, i'd come over and drink your bourbon
I've got a good selection right now: Four Roses single barrel, Buffalo Trace and a Woodford small batch. Some are for straight sippin', some are for making [our current favorite] drink, a Kentucky Mule.

[edit]

Hahaha, wow, over the last two weeks we had like a 90% overlap :D

You got any recommendations? I almost picked up Bookers last time I was at the liquor store. I think that was single barrel.

my liquor game is sad :(
That seems pretty solid love Titos (also go with Deep Eddy and 360, love the new domestic Vodkas, we've even got a local St. Augustine one that's terrific).

Sailor Jerry, El Jimador (what a great tequila for the price, 100% agave, smooth), yeah, I could work with that :D

(That Yamazaki is terrific too, even if it's from the wrong country ... :) )

I love bourbon. Here's some from my collection

Bourbon and other American whiskey is one thing a man cannot have too much of (although my girlfriend may disagree)

Buffalo trace and its subsidiaries are my staple, but I have been branching out to some new things lately. The Jefferson's and Russel's Reserve are excellent, and High West is among my favorite. Elijah Craig is also very good for the money. I try to find stuff that tastes good neat or on the rocks that isn't crazy expensive just because of the name (e.g. anything made by Jack Daniels, though that's not bourbon per se)

This is all I've got right now, just killed a handle of B-Trace. Every year I stop at a huge liquor store in Louisiana near where I visit my family, they sell their whiskeys for about 25% less than Florida...should be time to stock up come this weekend.

I use basic Buffalo Trace for my old fashioneds, it's pretty delicious in that form.

Here's an ingredient shot from one of our new favorites:

Bourbon Milk Punch (by way of Fort Defiance of Brooklyn). Whole milk (a good one, using Fa!rlife organic, don't go 1, 2 or skim ...), a really solid bourbon (4 Roses Small Batch, highly recommended), some simple syrup (my own made with natural cane sugar, has a light molasses taste), some vanilla extract (again with the organic).

Simple and slightly tweaked by me to be less sweet, more bourbon-y: 3 parts milk, 1.5 parts bourbon, 1/4 shot simple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla - shake with ice, strain over fresh ice. Add a little nutmeg, or any your favorite winter/pie/nog type spices.

Drink several ... enjoy ... be careful not to shoot your eye out. :D

Yes! I've been getting it for a few mixed drinks, can't be beat for the price when used in that capacity.

How's the High West? I've been seeing that around town, usually for a pretty good price, looks like they've got a few options.

That's a nice haul, thanks for sharing! I have never had Buffalo Trace, will have to scope it out next time I'm at the liquor store

That sounds good for being a creamy drink. I find that I usually get a full feeling before I can attain that level of comfortably drunk with most creamy drinks. Four Roses is a hidden gem, even the regular stuff. Slightly sweet and good for cocktails, and not expensive. I made what I called blood orange old fashioneds for my halloween party. Four roses, Solerno blood orange liquor, muddle orange wedge/cherry, peychaurd's bitters, and coated the rim in orange flavored sugar (in lieu of adding a sugar cube or simple syrup to the drink). Pretty tasty.
