I thought chassis number starts with one letter (M for 2021) - why there is "PP" in your number? Pre-production?Chassis: PP021
PP = Pilot ProductionPre-production?
@23GreenGremlin Love that green. Very sharp2023 Mach 1 Premium, 700A, 10-Speed Auto, Elite Pkg, Red Calipers
Chassis # P0389 (Built 12-12-22)

VP and TT destroyed. PP goes to auction if not used by Ford.PP = Pilot Production
VP = Verification Prototypes
TT = Tooling Tryouts
VP and TT are probably mostly destroyed or kept for museum, some of PP were clearly sold (to some company and then resold, not sure).
I'd be interested in this as well. I have an owners kit for N1012 2022 Oxford white 6MT 700A car just sitting in my closet. I traded the car in for another Mach 1 prior to receiving it so it's just sitting here. I'd love to get it to it's new owner of possible.Folks/Admins, do we have section where one could put out a search for their owner's kit? The GT350 crowd has that in the stickies.
Out of curiosity what made you get rid of the Supra?2023 Mach 1 Premium

just for funā¦
Trade-In: GR Supra 3.0 Premium, Phantom
Good questionā¦. Of course, all of this is just my opinion and very suggestive.Out of curiosity what made you get rid of the Supra?
Some of those reasons are why I skipped it for the Mach. I was really trying to make a Supra work but it was by far the most difficult car Iāve tried to find. Maybe itās my area but dealers werenāt very helpful and most wanted a markup. I test drove a used one and it was much more āenclosedā than a mustang. (Didnāt go through with it due to the car being well used at 34k miles and paint work) Having said all that I did like it. It wouldāve been my first European sports car. Where it lacked in low end torque the turbo brought out the fun. Finally like you I saw the Machs were heavily discounted and here we are. Im very happy with what I gotGood questionā¦. Of course, all of this is just my opinion and very suggestive.
- Supra was my first āEuropeanā car given the BMW strong connection, missed the domestic raw power, but not shaming the Supra, very capable in its own right.
- Supra was just too small, visibility was tough, thatās saying a lot from a Mustang perspective,
- Given the BMW-Toyota partnership, lots of confusion for folks trying to find good maintenance help, Toyota dealerships pretty clueless and only have very small group of mechanics.
- Mustang fan, S550 fan, Mach 1 fan, S650 might grow on me, but the lines just isnāt doing it for me, so grabbed one of the last MY.
- Huge Coyote fan, nothing wrong with the B58 in Supra, but not a coyoteā¦ thereās nothing like the v8 growl.
- not a racer, Supra is amazing on curvy roads, meant for the racetrack and I dd these, so not going to test them.
- did well on trade-in as I got a good deal up front on the Supra, where most were marking them up, I got it discountedā¦. Then found a local dealership discounting the Mach 1.
- then finally, just love the Mustang look, curves, linesā¦ Supra is also nice, but a bit much and too much fake on it
Iām sure thereās more, but long enough alreadyā¦ thoughts?
