I ordered 6 February 2015 with a delivery date for July 15.
I is part of the first batch (1 of 500 Champions League), it must happen at the same time as the car dealer.

Even though I was the first buy order in the country, they're not giving me any details. It really sucks. They always said 'late august', so that's probably going to be the 2nd batch. I wouldn't be surprised if some 'more important people' here will be getting the 1st batch cars. (There were only 8 CL allocations for NL, so I doubt that would be the entire first batch.)

Unless of course, NL doesn't get any cars at all in the 1st batch. (which also wouldn't surprise me btw)

I also ordered my Mustang in late February and is part of the first batch (500 of Champions League). As far as I know they will be a numbered edition, so they should be the first units to be delivered in Europe. My production date was April 20th, so I should see it in transit soon. My delivery date is early July.

It would be nice if the Champions League 500 will be numbered as limited edition (but I'm not one of the lucky 500!)

Do you see the steps in COTUS? Other guys with mid-april production date have their cars already in transit so it could be yours too :cheers:

No, i have no VIN number, so I have to call the Sales Manager to check the status everytime. I asked for the chassis number to be able to check it in COTUS by myself.

Yes, they told me that the first 500 units would have an inscription as a limited edition (e.g. no.XXX/500)
BTW, I see that you are also moving from an Alfa Romeo to a Red Race Ecoboost. Exactly as me! Good choice !;)

What I read is that you will get a certificate with your car of it being of the first 500. Any badge of it being "limited edition" or "xxx/500" would be completely ridiculous as they are in no way whatsoever "limited" as they will be exactly the same as all other cars of this model year.

Well, maybe it's ridiculous for you, but this is what ford spain told me officially by mail. That a similar text to the one above is going to be written in the badge. And that's a cool thing for me!

Definitively yes. It makes me very happy to have one of the first 500 Mustangs in Europe. And having it written in the badge reminding it, a little little bit happier... it's not a big thing, but well, it's free.
