Was taken by the first dealer I visited here in Belgium, they use it on their demo car, Black EB exactly as mine.Belive it or not but "MUSTANG" is still avaliable as a personal plate in Sweden, probably due to the size, it will be a normal size since it is a 7 letter word, the small us size plate does only has 6 letter/numbers.
There are a many variations that you could register where you replace letters by numbers, like:Was taken by the first dealer I visited here in Belgium, they use it on their demo car, Black EB exactly as mine.
Exactly! But I didn't want to waste 1000€ (1210€ vat incl) and now 2000€ (2420€ vat incl) on a plate. If I would have I was going to use EBS550 or EB-S550There are a many variations that you could register where you replace letters by numbers, like:
MU5TANG
MUS7ANG
MUST4NG
MUSTAN6
plus all combinations with multiple numbers. I doubt they will all be taken
Do however also remember that a Belgian plate is for life and in the future you might wanna drive a different car. A personal plate that is not connected to your car brand or model will fit better with future cars as well.
I paid a 50 Euros "tip" to get ITI2929. If I wanted I could wait a bit more and get ITI3000, as it was the next best choice. But I couldn't wait, I just wanted to drive my new car!In Greece, you can't choose. You get randomly plates from ministry of transportation (officially) . Three letters-four numbers.
Unofficially you bribe (the proper employee) and order your desired number (not letters) . The more easy number the more you pay. Of course it also depends from the brand name of th car....If you get i.e. a Lamborghini the tariff will go higher....
The plates bond with the car for ever, no matter the owners.
:doh:Last week in Belgium they approved the price increase for custom plates from 1000€ to 2000€ ex VAT for the so called extra costs of making a custom plate... uhum!
Doh indeed, now recently they anounced to put it back at 1000€ per plate as they noticed that sales dropped way to much...:doh:
