My order was officially submitted after May 1st, maybe that's the reason? Still confused, waiting for further info from my dealer.

As they know the car needs to be perfect for EU markets to decently compete with Audi & BMW, I'm convinced the one year learning process in production of this new model will give us Europeans an advantage quality wise...and less child diseases...cross fingers.

And now hearing the black will become metallic (add 700€) is a bit of a pain IMHO as these paints are better & harder. Honnestly I wouldn't mind waiting until september/october for it as this was our initial delivery estimate anyway.

Despite not having the money yet I am at least waiting till they arrive at the dealers and have driven one.

I find it to be a bit too much money to just blindy pre order one. Not to mention its a new model and so is the EU market for the Mustang. Hope they do well and Ford might go the extra mile on the 2016, 2017 etc models for the EU.

Then why my dealer told me that I need to go with Iridium Black and delivery will take place in October? I ordered after May 1st. SYNC2 seems legit because of localization issues, however it looks like the new EU cars will be produced with 2016 models.

I just checked our pricing list in Slovakia and there is also a new Black color with 800 price tag.

That's the point, ours will not be first but will be the result of the first production year and the hic ups they encountered. And hopefully they learned and adjusted so we get 'better' cars than the initial runs....

Fresh news everyone... Bad unfortunately(for me)

Spoke to the main dealer of Romania and he told me the car production has been delayed, AGAIN. It's the third time. First it was for 30th March, then 20th April. Smth like that. Now it's for middle of JUNE, of freaking JUNE! Means the delivery will be around September.

He know jack shit about the car also, as much as Ford told him.
Asked about the paint, he said he has no idea, but if something comes up, he'll contact me.
He also said the price will increase in the very new future, 2000-4000 Euros, as the demand is very high. He also told me they will not increase the price on my car, which tbh would of be horse shit, as I already have a down payment for a fixed priced car.
He seemed to be aware of the white tail lights, no LEDs and etc., though he didn't add anything to my list, just "nodded".

Anyway, these are the news that I have.

Finally got my VIN today. Instead of waiting for Black till October/November, I went with Guard since my dealer told me he can deliver that one in the summer, plus they will pay extra for the color. I have an access to COTUS, still no build date tho.

Anyway, I'm little confused why they are able to deliver the Guard one earlier than the Black, I thought the color is just a minor thing in the whole process.

In addition, he told me that they have a delivery limit of 25 Ecoboosts for the first production phase. Confused whether it's a limit for their dealership or the whole Germany. I also asked him how many Mustangs were ordered in Germany, hopefully he will be willing to share some more info.

The price is indeed going up. Here in Slovakia it's 39,5k EUR for the AT Ecoboost Fastback with no added features. I've got my order for 39k in Germany - EB AT Fastback, Custom Premium Pack, Perimeter Alarm + they paid for Guard as a substitute for Black.

Asked my dealer, he's a really nice guy. We're talking via email all day long.

My order has a date 4/27 in COTUS, it's not a final tho since we need to update a contract because of the new color.

It seems that the most popular color in Germany is Black and there is a limit of 150 Ecoboosts for the whole country in the first production phase. No idea what first production phase exactly means.

Sorry, I meant delivery. My dealer estimated July-Aug with prod starting in May. I probably got in time for the first delay. Anyway, my car should be first batch, hope it comes this year!!!
