Official 6G Shift knob pics thread

Totally forgot to post up my order on here. I kept swaying, thought I had made up my mind, then swayed again. Decided to pull the trigger and ordered a Flossy Snowball heavyweight. I'm a bit nervous, but hope to have it for the AM show coming up. I'm hopeful the 500g will make a big improvement in the stock shifter until I go MGW. Went with custom engraving like this:

I've taken the chance with Flossy as well, again. They always shipped me a knob promptly in the past :shrug:

I contacted them about making a custom shorty knob, as it was not one of the color options they had on their site. Should be arriving in about 2 weeks They're actually being very good about updating me over email on it's progress. Just got sent out for the custom coating 2 days ago.

Oh damn... I didn't even think anyone had this design yet! When I saw the picture I posted it just looked like something they did for show- so much for being original :doh:

I'm going for a yellow accent theme on my black car, so I got them to coat it in yellow

Yeah, that's exactly where I saw it. I thought it was just something they did and I thought it fit the theme well so I jumped on it. You definitely came up with something awesome, man! :cheers:

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. I should really start a little build thread to keep track of everything. If the weather's nice this weekend I'll start taking pics of the little things I've done so far and future plans.

Has anyone done a custom colored 'grip tape heavyweight shorty'?
His colors are a little strange beside white, black, red.

I'm drooling over the knobs tho.. and that weight!

Yeah sort of, as I mentioned above. They can't do custom grip tape texture, but they're doing a custom gloss color on mine. I should have it in 2 weeks or so, per his update a few days ago. I'll post pics. I'm curious if it'll actually be smooth gloss, or still have a texture.

1. adapter thread size
2. 12v momentary switch option (yes or no)
3. boot retainer (yes or no)
can someone pls tell me what the correct thread size is and give me a short explanation of what the other two things are
