I checked in with Derrick the other day (ordered Sept 3rd). He said the plan was to get any orders already in the cue finished up and delivered by Christmas. Not worried and look forward to see what he came up with for the design I suggested.

He sent me a picture when i asked him the other day. Tons of knobs coated and clear coated, waiting on engravings!

yep, that is my feeling also and why I ordered one from Shift Solutions. if I don't get it soon I'm filing to get my money back from Paypal :frusty:

I gave up and had Derrick refund me direct. 4+ month wait is unacceptable. I ordered a weighted knob from Raceseng and it was here in 3 days :lol:

I ordered mine from derrick back in Oct. I've been keeping in contact with him and he has had a huge order list. I've been patient and been doing little things so I haven't been in a huge rush. I'm ready to get it though so I can pretty much say my interior is done. He said he is supposed to ship them out this week so we shall see. Either way I'll wait for something that I want. Plus then it doesn't look like I ordered as much as I did without the warden knowing! lol

For me, the time isn't an issue, My car is parked until April and I am in no rush. Seeing the work he has done, I am willing to wait as long as it takes. I don't want to 'settle' for a knob and then have regrets.

I understand peoples frustrations, most of us don't want to wait 'forever'. But he appears to be a 'stand-up' guy.....from all the posts I have read, he is refunding for those who don't want to wait.:cheers:

nothing against the guy, I was refunded... so no complaints there. Glad he did the right thing and had no issues when I asked for a refund. But if I ran my business like he ran his.... I would no longer be in business... just saying :shrug:

trust me I get what you are saying as well, I honestly don't even think you where bad mouthing him or putting him down by any means. He has a niche business and quality seems on point and some wait others wont. It is just life lol. Like I stated I'm not in any big rush so I will wait

I ordered the white Hurst plastic knob (old school look) has anyone considered drilling one of these and adding lead to it? I don't have the ordered knob yet so I can't determine if this would be possible.
