Official 6G Shift knob pics thread

Finally got the old one unscrewed with some rubber gloves.
Here are some photos to demonstrate how close the green of the shift knob matches the guard green. Though my car is a bit dirty currently (will fix soon), the match is pretty damn close. I'm very satisfied with this color!
Drove it around the neighborhood to test the shifting, and it is definitely much smoother and easier overall.
Install was straightforward, I put it in reverse lockout to make sure it would align correctly and had to play around with the nut placement to fit everything tightly and in the correct orientation.
Overall would highly recommend!

That is close. Close enough that you'd never notice when they aren't placed together. Looks great.

Yeah, it was about as close as I could get without paint matched powder which is insanely expensive.

The comp orange we got is pretty close too

Me too, the first 2 stripe knobs came out well. Yours is a bit more accurate and complex but it's promising now that we know we can do stripes.

I don't, I can't remember off the top of my head if we've run matte clear over purple.

I can check back through my flickr, but I kind of doubt it. It would look pretty sweet, that purple has a ton of depth.

I installed my MGW this past weekend and ripped out the threads out of the stock knob (because they're plastic :doh, then I tried to put on my Anarchy knob, but the counter bore did not fit over the MGW adapter so it does not sit down all the way. I will get another stock one from [MENTION=10281]BmacIL[/MENTION] (thanks buddy :cheers, but I was also wondering of getting another custom one. I want to do some engraving on it and would ask Anarchy to make it, but I think it would be too big and heavy. I would like to get a knob that weights about 300g and is a little bigger than the stock. Anyone got any suggestions who to work with?
