Still no leather covered knobs at all......

The Raceseng Orbature has, I believe, a Delrin sleeve.

I'm kind of holding off on pulling the trigger because

A) cost

B) I live in Phoenix and a solid metal shift ball is likely to be uncomfortable in the summer.

I have a Raceseng knob with the delrin. I'd much prefer leather, one: to justify the cost, and two: to get a better feel. The knob looks absolutely perfect but the delrin doesn't provide very good friction. It's rather slippery and hard. The top of the knob feels harsh on the palm of my hand. It's a bit of a disappointment for the price and the fact that I had a hand in its development for the S550. I believe Lathewerks does offer a leather wrap for their knobs though.

Went with the 50 Years shift knob & Barton shift collar on our STEEDA tri-ax shifter. Chose the white knob to go with the light interior.

Well, got my knob in from [MENTION=19132]Anarchy Motive[/MENTION] today. It is hard to get a good picture on a cell phone, but the thing is awesome. This was exactly what I was looking for when I asked about doing one in this color. You nailed the clear red man. I might have to ask you about what color specifically you used whenever I get around to powder coating/painting my brake calipers.

Now just to wait for my car to get back from being fixed for hail damage...

Not at all worried- I like to let the car get to temp anyways- as I am walking to the car after work I roll the windows down....car is kept in a garage at home- not to worry- as you said its a Beautiful Piece-and the weight- wow just a nice piece of Art!!!

Imagine my first car- No Air-condition....lol
