It does not change throw length. Id suggest to research that just so you can understand the mechanics behind a shifter. The shift knob is basically the height of two stock knobs stacked. The weighted knobs make the throws so much easier. Plus I was tired of every single shift knob post being a damn ball. Hey if you like it cool. Me I like to try and be a little different. I will post a pic of my old shift knob in my past manual vehicles when I get home.

the word "BLACKHAWK" on each side in Military lettering-

The Raceseng Orbature has, I believe, a Delrin sleeve.

I'm kind of holding off on pulling the trigger because

A) cost

B) I live in Phoenix and a solid metal shift ball is likely to be uncomfortable in the summer.

Received my WC Lathe Werks Silver Sphere Knob last week,have to say I'm really impressed by workmanship,finish,general quality.
Very substancial feel in hand,plus has adjustable set screw with an included Allen wrench,so loc tite is not needed.
And now for the bad part--- Took a major fall,have broken arm with elbow dislocation
So no idea when I will be able to install,or even take Mustang out for a drive :(

No offense but that is the worst shift knob that you can put in this car! That knob in a menly men car is a hell no! People would think you are a pervert or some sort too.
