Just to be sure its the long one with the rounded top? I see pictures of other knob styles under that preorder and im guessing its for color chart.

Yes it is, those are there to display the colors, not the physical knob itself. I need to maybe make that more clear.

Got my LatheWerks custom shift knob in yesterday and installed it. Very happy. I've got an actual write up with real numbers and some better information, but I can say it's darn pretty.

That is pretty cool. I think in like a dark blue or black with the lines staying the metal color would look cool.

It's in gunmetal and is a much deeper blue-gray than the pictures indicate. Goes really well with the dash on my GT.

Now that I have the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter in, I'd really like to top it with a nice piece of shifter candy. I LOVE the look of the Raceseng Orbature, but at $160 that's a pricey piece of kit for a shift knob.

Also, I really like the height of the stock shift knob on the Tri-Ax. It sits very comfortably, and I don't really want to change that height overmuch. While I have beefy hands, I also don't really want a standard billiard-ball shape.

Does anyone have thoughts on something that retains a height similar to the stock knob, has a shape more like the Raceseng, and weighs more than stock?

Don't think I'm half-tempted to just go buy a billet chunk of tungsten or stainless and mill out my own. I'd just spend more on mill bits than I would on a pre-machined knob, as I don't have a decent set of end-mill bits. Also I'd need to borrow my neighbor's lathe to turn down the billet and even then I don't have engraving capabilities.

Just ordered my Raceseng Ashiko translucent blue to match my DIB. Engraved shift pattern too. Yes, I spent way too much on this stupid thing. It looks so damn nice though especially with their font and at 675grams! I'll post pics when it's in.

Their font isnt bad but doesnt seem like it would mesh with the mustang and the bowed edges and special "R" doesnt do it for me. I could get one with it off but i like the look of the ensriptions.

I feel you. It's definitely not for everyone, but I really liked their signature R instead of just well... a regular R. I feel it still looks modern with the car, and the silver engraving goes with my PP interior.

How bad does the shifter rattles with the reverse lock out? My guess is with aftermarket metal shifter knobs the reverse lock out chrome piece might touch each other and cause a rattle! Anyone having this issue?
