Oh man, someone likes to read the brochuresthen build me a GT with the 5.2 fpc and 350 cosmetics, interior and suspension, or build me 350 or GT with whats offered on the GT500. ill buy it right now
I'd still be curious about how it works, like for example, what if I blow out the rear end? Clearly not under warranty from Ford, that's out of Whipple's warranty coverage (I would assume), but if it is covered by Lebanon, do they comp a local Ford dealer?I just called Lebanon Ford Performance, and the Whipple is covered by Whipple and you can take it to any Ford dealer and they will work on it.
You wouldn't call FP but rather your local dealer....you don't know Ford Performance will not sell the FPC unless you have one already?
True dat. That is where you startYou wouldn't call FP but rather your local dealer.
That oil pan intrigues me... wonder how long until that hits the aftermarket and what its compatibility with the Coyote will be
I suspect the new oil pan can be purchased from Ford parts. That oil pan intrigues me... wonder how long until that hits the aftermarket and what its compatibility with the Coyote will be
I'd imagine so, but the price is what concerns me. If it's anything like the GT4 oil pan... that thing is like $1800!I suspect the new oil pan can be purchased from Ford parts.
I see it at $1200 in the Ford parts catalog. It is standard on the Boss 302. It mostly adds more oil capacity.I'd imagine so, but the price is what concerns me. If it's anything like the GT4 oil pan... that thing is like $1800!
You're looking at a different part. PN M-6675-M52RR for $1425+shipping is what I'm talking aboutI see it at $1200 in the Ford parts catalog. It is standard on the Boss 302. It mostly adds more oil capacity.
You only need more oil capacity in racing. There is no issue with a street car.
