Lmao. That is so embarrassingly cheap looking. :headbonk:
Why they didn't stamp the louvers in the sheet metal is beyond me... Something like what the old E-Types had would look a lot better than a Home Depot screen protector.

Maybe we get a solid hood and a Shaker on a Mach 1 so no heat extractors? Only if the Mach 1 will ever come back

Lmao y'all acting like the 15-17 hood vents look any better. I actually prefer the look of the new heat extractors.
Thank you...I thought it was just me!

The '15-'17 vents aren't exactly frenched in, and neither are these. Both look good, but I'll give the nod to the '18 as the hood slopes down easch side ('68 style) to meet the extractors.

Thanks for the video, but the quality is so poor, I had to stop watching. I will wait for the official vid.

anyone shared this video here before? finally getting soft touch cup holder area
The videos been posted a couple of times before, but with so many posts, it would be east to have missed it :)

Yes, it sounds like there are now more soft touch materials inside. "Glove soft" leather on the steering wheel (heated option!), "hand stitched" dash cover, soft "knee pads" on the centre console, and softer leather on the rest of the centre console and doors.

This sounds like they've taken the Premium "Premiere" trim and added upgrades to it. Of course, we don't know if there are still standard and Premium trims.....at least I don't think that's been confirmed yet.

Oh, and the centre console sits 1/2 - 1 inch higher as there's now a slight slope in front of the gear lever down to the bottom of the dash.

:)

Probably because the hood aluminum is so paper thin the louver wouldn't punch right, and even if they did they would be damaged at the slightest wrong touch.

Louvers require old-school sheetmetal.

I'll be buying some of these interior panels and parts for my '16 for sure. But they all fit and are swapable.

I hope this doesn't make it uncomfortable. Is the shifter higher as well?
