get the 18,s if you want to keep them skinny 235 tires.. i noticed a big improvement going 19x9.5 with a 275 tire. handles so much better, but of course im lowered about 1.5 inches also . but i had the 18s on there when i was lowered and still wasnt cutting it

I was sort of defending your choice for such a bad wheel. But hey, whatever dude.
I apologize man, my eyes can't weigh rims from pictures like your eyes can. You're totally right.

I googled them. But for the money, you can't really beat it. However, you can get a much lighter wheel that looks as good or better for not much more.

Sorry, I guess what I am getting at is that you mentioned about a 19" wheel weighing more, but those are within 1lb of what a 19" PP wheel weighs, and those are not really considered light weight by any means. I should have been more clear about the context of my statement.

I would consider a set for winter tires, if I am forced to drive it in the winter.

I was thinking of going with a 305/35-18 or 305/40-18 tire with the 18x10 rim.

I wasn't saying all 18" inch rims weigh less than 19" inch rims, but if you do an apples to apples comparison, same style rim from the same manufacturer, the 18" inch rim will weigh less. Same holds true with tires and price if you do an apples to apples comparison. I have no problem with 19" inch rims, I think they look great on the Mustang.

You wheels might weight less but your tires are gonna weight more. Apples and oranges.
