So I finally got around to updating my SCT and loaded my tune. I won't name the tuner as it's not relevant to this discussion but it is a trusted one.

Anyways, after the tune loaded the car idled very rough, then stalled out and threw a P0690 (ECM/PCM power relay sense circuit high) and P0315 (crankshaft position system variation not learned) codes.

Reloaded the stock tune, cleared DTCs and did crank relearn and car is running normal. I'm in contact with the tuner to see whats going on, but I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else?

This is not a complaint of finger pointing thread, just curious to see if there are any learning points here?

How do you perform a crank relearn? Option within SCT device?

Not that I'm aware of. I think the tune being out of whack caused my ecu to throw that code.

It's always recommended to do a crank relearn after every flash. I wouldn't worry about it unless you get those codes after the relearn.
