BTW this isnt my 1st rodeo.

Ive had 3 S550 gen Mustangs.

2nd one had hill assist issues from the BCM getting wet from not 1 but 2 leaking passenger foglights.

Take car to car wash and right fog light fills up witb water. Water drips on Body Control Module. Happened on my 2018.

Its behind the right fog light.

BCM ties into ABS, Mode Settings, Gear selection ect.

So keep asking ignorant questions like im an idiot or take some advice......
You're the one that came in here with no helpful advice, only saying "find a competent dealership" which is of no help. Then you go defensive when someone questions you. Perhaps giving a full response in the first place would prevent "ignorant questions"

Also, having 3 cars doesn't necessarily make you an expert nor does it prove anything. It just means you've had 3 cars. One thing you have convinced me of, though, is that you are an idiot, and I'll not be taking advice from you.

So your advice is to take it to someone competent? I see by your pics maybe you had some shit . But if the issue can't be duplicated , the tech and the customer is shit out of luck . This might not be your first rodeo , but I deal with this shit all day . Stop talking out your ass and get a clue how some of this shit works .

I deal with electronic issues that are hard to duplicate on a daily basis for a DOD company as a field service rep.

Maybe you and the OP need to find someone thats better with diagnostic tools......

I see you way more knowledgeable on how to fix an issue with an intermittent problem . Guess the DOD . Has superior diagnostic stuff the a company that built the product .

Because the DOD and a car dealership are the same thing.. I invite you to see yourself out of my post. You offer nothing to help resolve the issue at hand.

Like I said. Find a competent dealership. If the problem is hard to duplicate:

Check grounds.
Check for corrosion.
Ohm out the wiring harness.
Make sure the connectors dont have damaged/broken/corroded/melted/bent pins.

Maybe using a Multimeter or oscilloscope is too difficult? LOL

Even know how to use an oscope to check signals going to the modules?

Wiggle the harness see if the signal or voltages change.

Typical scan tooks are garbage for this kind of fault. If the issue isnt present of course its not going to find it. Gotta be a little smarter. Umm gee I dunno maybe just maybe even bust out a schematic if it doesnt melt your brain! LOL.

But hey what the fuck do I know I only work on radars for a living........

Last time I checked radars have very little in common with cars. Maybe I'll go get my navy friend to diag it since he was a radar tech on a ship, seeing as how they're the same thing according to you.

Again, you can take your holier than thou bullshit and go somewhere else.

Your Navy friend likely has far more brains than the idiots at the dealership or whoever tried fixing it previously.

2nd most dealership techs are parts chuckers and cant do diagnostics to save their life.

Just because someone is a tech at a dealership doesnt mean they have a flying clue how to use all the tools Ford offers at their disposal.

I know of multiple dealerships that have techs that works solely on electronic problems and dont touch anything else.

Same reason why the lube tech isnt doing engine and transmission rebuilds.

LOL not all techs are created equal nor have same level of experience and training.
