My 2020 GT sisterhood doesn't like reverse much. Evermore I drive my son to the end of the driveway waiting for the bus. Back out of garage no problem, sit at the end of the driveway until the bus comes put the car in reverse and start easing out on the clutch. I get about half way up.thr driveway when the rear view camera disappears, it shows an outline of the car with an x through it. On the dash pops up hill start assist unavailable, and park aid unavailable. Rev match doesn't work dieing this time either. Shut off the car and restart and everything is fine again. Anyone ever seen this?

I guess I'm the only person to ever have this issue.. just my luck. Dealer is clueless because they are unable to replicate.

Not sure if relevant but I received a recall note about the backup camera a few months ago. Good luck.

Camera has already been replaced under that recall. Camera either doesn't work or you can't see anything. Doesn't affect the other systems though.

Camera was replaced, and it works fine. I was stating what the issue is under that recall.
I dont care if its been replaced clearly it needs further troubleshooting.

Or just fix the recall and send you on your way?

So you're blaming the dealership for doing a crappy job on something that started months after the recall was done and can't be replicated with any regularity?

Foget about the recall.

Now.

You have an issue.

Issues isnt resolved.

take it to a competent dealership to fix it.

Is this complicated for you?

You know good dealerships can find issues AND fix them. Not just install recall parts righ?......... ROFL! Geezus.

BTW this isnt my 1st rodeo.

Ive had 3 S550 gen Mustangs.

2nd one had hill assist issues from the BCM getting wet from not 1 but 2 leaking passenger foglights.

Take car to car wash and right fog light fills up witb water. Water drips on Body Control Module. Happened on my 2018.

Its behind the right fog light.

BCM ties into ABS, Mode Settings, Gear selection ect.

So keep asking ignorant questions like im an idiot or take some advice......

I think the bus routine and the topo is influencing your issue.
Try Turning off the hill assist
