Hello,

I'm looking for the Ford OBD adaptor or something close to that that can link the car to the diagnostics.

Can anyone help me?

Dunno how this is done in a Ford, let alone in the Shelby, but in BMW there is a socket located in the lower left side of the steering wheel in which you can connect a diagonstic device (laptop with software or something similar).

Sorry if this is a rather dumb post!

Cheers!

The OBD port is to the right of the steering column just behind the lower panel.
There are a number of options to do diagnostics. If you search this forum, you will find options that will allow you to read diagnostic codes and reprogram some functions of the car.

This is the one I use
GoPoint Technology 9105 BT1 Auxiliary Input Adapters https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0061XSX0O/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_WEaZyb8BYM5GD

Get the Dash Command app for your phone to data log

And it works great with Harry's Lap Timer for the track

Gopoint app hasn't been updated since Oct 2015. I wonder how it works now on iOS10 almost 2 years later.

Forscan has been updated last time in Feb 2017, and it shows lots of incremental minor updates.
