O2 system not ready for emissions

I had same issue when I bought my 2018 used. Took me forever to complete drive cycle. At the end I just drove to next major city by highway 200 miles away, drove in city during rush hour , and drove back home. It finished halfway back.

I cleared it like last Wednesday.

Stop clearing the codes. Every time you do, it resets all of the monitors

I only cleared the code once. And I didn’t think much of it. I went to get my emissions done 8 days later.

It took me a while to get mine to set after I had cleared codes from a issue I was having. I got on the freeway and drove 10 miles at 60mph, purposely took an exit I could cruise down to 20mph without using the brakes, then did some stop and go driving and back on the freeway and held a constant 60mph for 10 more miles and repeated the exit and cruise down to 20mph without touching the brakes. Within 2 days all of my monitors had set. Some cars can take a long time to run the test for the O2's, some clear pretty quick. Most states have an extension you can fill out online if you get close to your due date and they are not still set. Just keep driving it and add in some freeway cruising to the normal stop and go city driving. Eventually they should set.

You think it’s just a case of them just not setting yet rather than something wrong?
