Any update on your car yet? Has the prixcar status changed yet?

No mine still shows as do not ship on the Prixcar site.

In an effort to understand the process I went through all 54 cars that landed in Port Kembla from the Aniara, took about an hour last night. It looks like all the Ecoboost cars have been delivered or are in transit, some were even sent out in December. It now looks like the GT's are also staring to head out as of the beginning of this week, as you would know from yours arriving at the dealer. All of the GT's except 5 have dealer addresses assigned and look to be ready to ship. Of these 5 GT's 4 (including mine) are marked as "do not ship", funny thing is that they have 4 consecutive stock codes, not sure what that means, but maybe they are working through them in some sort of order. Then there is one that is in transit back to Victoria, maybe Prixcar could not fix it or maybe it was a cancelled order that has been re-assigned. I know it wont make mine arrive any faster, but I will keep on checking the 4 that are still sitting there, and if there is no change by Friday I will have to start making some noise to see what the story is, but hopefully it wont get to that.

Gnome - have you checked the impacted VIN's in etis to see if there is any recall or other service notice?

Also if they are consecutive stock codes - (do you mean order number) that may mean they all are from the same dealer... wonder if they have paid their last account?

Funny I was thinking the same thing re the consecutive stock codes maybe there is an "accounting" issue, but I have no idea how the stock codes are assigned. Of these 4, 3 of them have consecutive VINs also and one is way out of sequence. I did check Etis on the 4 that are on hold and there were no service notices shown for any of them.

Just got word from the dealer that my estimated delivery date has blown out to 05/03/16 - which would be exactly a year from the order date.

That means a couple of things Drew. It will have to get on the Talisman to be delivered by then...and that would be one year and three months from my order date...give or take a day or two...

Ford should present a yoda trophy to you when you receive your car....but there are many more avenues of dissapointment available yet Ian....Ford Aus are cheeky imps....they love tormenting their customers.

Hehe.....I've no doubt Bob that you are right about Ford Au and I am sure Drew knew I was only actually lamenting with him. By the way my private satellite tells me that the Tamerlane is only 4800 km from Auckland.

No Ivanovi no OTT stripes, but the do not ship issue has been sorted and it is now showing ready for despatch and due at the yard Monday.

what I do know is that the cars that should have had OTT, showed up without them. Ford Au has to.now sort that out....but the factory in Melbourne is shut till the 18th!

Oh dear, well hopefully they are shipping with the correct wheels now at least.

ETIS indicates that the stripes are part of my build - will have to wait and see I guess.
