what I do know is that the cars that should have had OTT, showed up without them. Ford Au has to.now sort that out....but the factory in Melbourne is shut till the 18th!

Well I guess they are fairly new to the car manufacturing game, you can expect them to make a few mistakes in the beginning. Probably had some ADR issues with the width of the stripes.......

You are making me laugh Gnome....it is too true....this crowd has been making cars for over a hundred years...and still cant get it even close to being right....:amen:

Interesting... cars with the wrong wheels was already a little concerning, but an easy fix, and now OTT orders with no OTT.

I just hope mine turns up with a V8 in it and not the 6.

Assuming they had things in order at the plant yes. But the point of the post was to highlight the fact that it obviously is not the case.

They are jumbling things up like wheels and OTT stripes. It wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to end up with a 6, which would cause 'significant' delays to delivery!

For the record, I am well aware AUS are getting the V8 and ecoboost models.

Just got word from the dealer that my estimated delivery date has blown out to 05/03/16 - which would be exactly a year from the order date.

My order date was the same as yours but built on the 2 Dec. Still don't know if it has made to Baltimore, had a call from my dealer on Thursday to tell me that my delivery date has gone out to 25 March, so obviously not getting on the Talisman.:frusty:

That sucks..I am too afraid to call my dealer and they have never contacted me before without many requests by me, so I cant see them doing it now.

Your dealer would be able to tell you the physical location of your car.

The current location of my car (listed on Vista and advised by dealer) currently reads "US DOCKS".

Waiting on another Pm from Deysha about location of car. Deysha Pm'd me on the 29 Dec and stated that the car was still at the plant. I may go see my dealer on Monday and see if he can see location of vehicle. I know a couple of cars that were built on the same day as mine are already on the ocean waves.

Your probably right Yuvraj. May have been at the up fitters. With my luck I probably got the wrong motor, wrong wheels and Drewbo's Ott stripes.

Maybe they put a Voodoo motor out of the GT350 in it and cant figure out what badges to put on it...

Probably got a motor out of a Citroen 2cv and installed it in my stang.
