Nothing but problems from this dealer...

SO long story short, i spent the last few weeks casually winning the war of attrition with the dealer. I managed to sell my 2016 F150 back to them for what I paid initially after putting 65K miles on it and basically get a grand off msrp on my build. So the order is placed... but as you can clearly see in the image it has a spoiler when I signed off on a spoiler delete.

Seems like this dealership (and its a major one in houston) always manages to fail in some kind of way.

so... they can update this right?

Is that image from the Build and Price? If so that program has so many glitches that you can’t decide from the image shown unfortunately. Best is to have the dealer take a screen shot of the confirmed DORA or similar confirmation with Ford.

I think an order can be modified up until a VIN is assigned, based on what I have read on here. Others will confirm.

Agreed. Not sure why you’re spending the time posting here when you do not even know it you actually have an issue. Do what David said and get something in writing from your dealer. If it is a mistake, have them fix it immediately.

Does it list the “spoiler delete”? I’m a bit confused. So, have your received your VIN and production week? If so, that’s what’s locked in. Back when I placed my order, and it was confirmed by Ford, the DORA (mine us attached with some info edited out by me) reflected everything ordered on my vehicle.

they did place another order for me, i reckon they figured out the delete didn't get in.
haven't got a build week on that one yet, though.

I'm sure it will, one way or another. my wife wants the spoiler. as far as spoilers go its pretty snazzy looking and is functional so i could talk myself into it. definitely changes the look of the car from more classy to more muscular.
