I live in Sterling, work in Tysons Corner.

If you have a nice garage I'd love to help out with the blower install! Definitely not something I can do here at work, we are basically limited to simple bolt-on stuff and maintenance.
Just saw your sig. My first Mustang was a '67 coupe that started life with an I6 200CID + C4. When I was done, it had a tiger 260 plus a 4sp toploader. Loved that car...especially the foot pump to squirt the washer fluid on the windshield. :)

Are there any local meets/events around the tysons or springfield area? i'd love to come out and listen to some exhausts before pulling the trigger :D

I live in Oakton and work in Tysons. I've got the Roush exhaust if you're wanting to hear it. I love the sound.

Whereabouts in Oakton? I work near the Toll Road and Hunters Mill Rd. I'm still rockin the stock exhaust.

Might be moving to your area soon. Just need to find a place with a reasonably new home and 10+ acres (I like some elbow room). Taking the toll road makes a commute from Leesburg/Purcelville tolerable compared to where I am now.

I've got a 2 car garage, air tools, and the experience, but just lack free time these days. New baby coming soon too. :)

Best,
We have actually been thinking about moving a little further out, we like the Purcellville area a lot and have a lot of friends out there.

New baby huh, congrats! You definitely aren't going to have time for that s/c install now! Mine are 3 (4 next month) and 7. My son (the 3yr old) is always wanting to help me wash the Mustang. It's stressful...."No No! That mitt is only for the wheels!!" But it's fun having the kids involved.

Yep, always fun to involve them in chores...just not washing daddy's car. Let's see, mine are 17, 16, 22 months, and soon to be born. I'm a glutton for punishment. :)

I've gone through maybe 4 hours of sound clips on youtube and they all sound amazing to me lol. Even the stupid loud ones that i'd never DD sound glorious!
I have the ARH catback. I love it and it's very tolerable for daily driving. I'm in McLean/Tysons during the week if you wanted to check it out.

This is the best video I've found that really represents how it sounds.

Best,
Built in baby sitters is what I'm seeing. I have to pay someone else's teenagers to watch my kids.

What about ARH LT's? I really want them but don't want to do them on my garage floor. They bolt on :D

I installed my longtubes on my 2011 and it took the entire day thanks to a few hangups and distractions. We could bring your car in to take a look and determine how big a job it would be, do some online research and go from there.

It literally sounds to me that you just volunteered to install long tubes on my car.

From the video that CJ Pony Parts did it looks just at lengthy, if not worse than the S197.

If you really want longtubes installed don't expect me to be much cheaper than a local speed shop.
