I have a 2016 UK 5.0 GT ecently purchased.

When driving in Normal mode it feels rough especially when changing gear at low speeds. It feels like as soon as the throttle is released power is cut off too soon.

When driving in Sports mode everything is much smoother.

Is there anyway to get Normal mode smoother. I do a lot of town driving and I should not need to run in Sports mode.

I don't think so. It has a standard Mode lever - Normal, Sports, Track and Wet. Matches the manual.

Perhaps I should add its manual 6 speed drive.

I would bring it to the dealer if it's under warranty.

I haven't done well with the dealer so far. I had to use the Internet to produce evidence of SatNav faults before they would even look.

Hence the post to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

You can always try the battery disconnect trick although that is usually for autos.

Not sure if that would do anything for manual.
