I have heard a lot of chatter about law enforcement beginning to enforce sound level rules in the West Bay. Have any of you had instances with this? I am not in the Bay Area but would consider making the trip since I grew up over there. I am familiar with Alice's and know that there are hundreds of bikes and cars that hang out in the area for get togethers. I do not believe that I would have an issue, but I wanted to ask.

Hi all, late notice, but I've got tomorrow (Friday 9/2) off from work and am going to head down Mines Road from Livermore to the Junction for lunch, then west to Lick Observatory, and likely reverse the trip back home. Shooting to hit the north end of Mines at 10:30am.

I've done that drive a few times in the Shelby and it's great. Unfortunately, I'm working all day so I can't join but I'm in Livermore so if you guys are ever down for a drive again sometime, I'm down!

I was driving at around 7:45am-8:00am, I've passed a few, but not too bad. I think most of them were at the lower slopes (before Grant Lake)… and the oncoming traffic was super-light, so passing wasn't a problem.

On Friday I had a killer drive on Mines south to 130, west to Lick, and then reversed back to Livermore. Almost no car or bike traffic on a hot Friday. Love that GT350! So eager to turn, so much front end grip with the 315mm front tires I have now. It’s great to get back on this road for the first time since April with multiple track days under my belt in the GT350, as I know the car much better and can push harder.

Almost no car or bike traffic on a hot Friday.

I found Fridays to be most enjoyable to drive around. I take a day off sometimes just to enjoy roads without traffic. 9, 35, 130… pretty much all staple roads in the Bay Area. Don't tell anybody, lol

Apparently, that's also a time to meet some nice cars around, not your average 911 But that ramp to the parking lot on Pescadero is atrocious…
