Hi,
A VP racing fuels recently opened in our town. I noticed that they are advertising "non-ethanol premium" on their grade/price sign.
Wondering what advantages that straight gas would provide. I know that I'll get better mileage (due to the higher energy density of straight gas), but doesn't ethanol help prevent detonation? Haven't stopped in yet to see what the pump octane is yet. 92 octane is the usual pump octane for premium around here.
