I hadn't planned on owning or working on an S550 Mustang.
My father had been into Mustangs for many years. He started by restoring a 65 fastback which he sold. After selling, he knew he needed to keep it going so he bought a 2007 Shelby GT500. Once he owned that, he decided he needed more of a daily driver and bought a 2021 Mustang GT. Unfortunately, we lost him last November to a stroke. The GT500 went to my sister, and the S550 went to me. Fitting I suppose as my dad and I always worked on cars together from a young age, he'd know I wouldn't leave any car I got alone - modifications must be done. So, the GT500 will lead a relatively tame life of club drives and car shows while the S550 will slowly be molded into something both I and my father would be proud of.
I'm not sure if my father was on this board, no idea what his user name would have been. The car was over by Olympia, WA, my father's name was Marty. If you happen to recognize the car and you know of an account, I'd love to know about it to find out more of what he did with the car. If not, no worries.
I'd like to introduce you to Gengar, the S550 tribute to my father.
Modifications when I picked it up (that I've determined so far):
