Hi guys- I was just building out a GT on Ford's site since I was planning on ordering one soon. I noticed there are now nickel wheels available as a second wheel option for the Performance Pack besides the black wheels. What do you guys think? I heard the black ones are pain to keep clean.

They have been out for a couple months now. I personally really like them.

They look great in the rendering there. Not sure how easy the details will be to keep clean, and they might show dust more due to being silver, but they look darn good IMO.

I think this depends on some things. I don't daily drive my car. It is used just for fun. I have taken it out a few times since I bought it. Tonight was an example. I got a little road salt / snow melt on it. It took me less than 10 minutes the thoroughly clean all four PP wheels. Now, this did not involve getting well past the spokes to the barrel of the wheel and cleaning that. For that it would have taken a bit longer. On the flip side, the black PP wheel with the tight spokes actually does a good job of hiding any road grime that may collect on the inner surface of the barrel. So I guess it is all in how you use the car as to how hard the PP wheels are to clean. I find them very easy to clean.

They look awesome, if only they were wider...

Thank you for the feedback!! Your Ruby Red GT with those wheels looks fantastic ! It's making me consider my original choices between Lightning Blue and Race Red.
