  1. Resale value....ouch

Can I ask how many miles do you have on your GT? I was looking to pick up a '14 GT Premium w/ the track pack. It has only 20K miles on it and the dealer won't budge from the 26K asking price.
  2. Nickel Wheels for Performance Pack

Thank you for the feedback!! Your Ruby Red GT with those wheels looks fantastic ! It's making me consider my original choices between Lightning Blue and Race Red.
  3. Nickel Wheels for Performance Pack

Hi guys- I was just building out a GT on Ford's site since I was planning on ordering one soon. I noticed there are now nickel wheels available as a second wheel option for the Performance Pack besides the black wheels. What do you guys think? I heard the black ones are pain to keep clean.
  4. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

I was thinking the same thing. My local dealer has them discounted too. If I was looking for a track car for 40-45K, I would just get a C6 Z06. You can even find them for cheaper than that with higher miles.
  5. American Muscle got their hands on the 2018 6sp manual

The 18 has no lift shift. Was that available in the 15-17's?
  6. 3.15 vs 3.55 axle with 10 speed auto, what will I notice, lose or gain?

Here a comparison of the gear ration between the 6-Speed Auto and the 10-Speed Auto for reference as well.
  7. Dealer told me there are no deals on 2017

That seems like a great deal as you are getting 8,400 off sticker. I am currently shopping for a '17 Race Red GT Premium w/PP. The best deal I can get around here is 38.9K OTD. The only other option is a Reverse Sensors. I will more than likely settle for this as it is the car I have been...
  8. Why are you buying a 2017 GT instead of waiting?

I am in the same predicament. I know the '18 will be awesome, but I heard from a local dealer they will not even be on the dealers lots until late October/Early November. Living in the Midwest, I won't be able to enjoy the car until Spring most likely. Additionally, I doubt you will be able to...
  9. Manual in traffic

I never told him to get it I said it could be "might be" an option. I know people who have gotten away with it but I do not recommend it either. I have driven in all-seasons in a Chicago winter and gotten through it just fine since the roads get plowed pretty good.
  10. Manual in traffic

Don't forget if you plan on driving it throughout the Chicago winter you are going to need a set of winter wheels/tires which would be another $1000-$1500 if you get the PP. The PP has summer only tires, but if you get the 3.55 manual those come with all seasons, so that might get you through...
  11. Used 2012 Boss 302 or 2015 Mustang GT Premium

Thanks for the input everyone! The Boss is in white and the GT is in DIB. I plan to drive the car daily as I will be averaging 5-6k miles a year at the most. The GT I test drove was a manual with 3.55 gears, which I really liked. After seeing everyone's comments I think I am going to have to...
  12. Used 2012 Boss 302 or 2015 Mustang GT Premium

Hey Everyone, I am new to the forum but, but I have have been pretty much set on getting 2015 Mustang GT this Spring... until I came across a used 2012 Boss 302 with only 5K miles at a local dealer. Now I am torn between which one to pick: the Boss feels way more raw but "special" while a new...
