NGuage diff temp sensor and 3.73 Torsen swap

I've searched around but couldn't find an answer. I just got a Lund Tune and NGuage last week and when messing with the gauges, i've seen a readout for differential_temp sensor. However it doesn't work, i'm curious if this works on PP cars only?

I've also been looking at upgrading my gears from 3.55 LSD to a 3.73 Torsen. I finally found one carrier assembly locally for a decent price at $636. If i swap to this, will the temp sensor work or do I have to add additional wiring that's missing from the non-PP cars ?

Also, anything that i need to lookout for when getting this diff? All manual cars have the iron housing i'm assuming?seller only provided me with 2 pics saying it came out of a 2018 PP with 6-speed.

If the stock wiring isn’t there you won’t be able to read diff temp, sensor or not. You’d be better off running an independent gauge.
