Anyone having this problem with their nGauge? This happens almost once a day randomly on start up. It just locks up. I have to unplug it from the OBD port and plug back in to free up. I love the gauge but feel like smashing it with a hammer.

Do you have the latest firmware installed? On of the newer revisions was to correct that issue

I was having an issue where the gauge would do the same thing but there were lines on it.

I was frustrated like you! Became almost an “every time I started it” type of thing. LOVE the gauge but was frustrated by it!

I dealt with Justin at E Motion directly even though it’s a Lund gauge. Fantastic service! I can’t speak highly enough about their customer service. Responded very quickly and listened to me. Well done!

He said they have an update that does fix a lot of the issues but it my case, he felt it was the screen. Gave me an RMA # to send it in for warranty repair. He had the gauge fixed and sent back the day they received it. They even updated my firmware as well.

Yours is different. I would try the update and see what happens. If that doesn’t fix it, I’d get hold of E Motion and see what they can do. How long have you had it?

PM me if you need any other info.
