Hi guys, looking for some advice please

I received my NSC # today from Ford HO, where they advised it is due for May production

I ordered on 10 July 2015, so based on this time lapse, what sort of timing and next lot of info can I expect

I ordered about the same time.
Was told the same build month as you, with a delivery of September

I received my VIN on the 20th October 2015 when I asked my dealer.

Seriously, your dealer has your VIN by now. Go over there and squeeze it out of him.

My dealer said today that I still do not have a VIN number! I did manage to get one out of Ford so I do have a VIN number. (No window sticker yet but late Jan build according to Deysha).

I dont know whether the dealer has this info but just doesn't know how to grab it....or just doesn't care to look. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are being kept in the dark.

Bottom line is I finally have a VIN and some light now appearing at the end of the tunnel. :clap2:

ohhh I had to fight just to get my NSC code..... which only indicates an approximate build month. I will admit I haven't gone through your posts to see if you already have your NSC code. You should be able to get it if you ask your dealer for it.

Then I messaged Ford Australia Via facebook with my NSC code, and they said that it indicated a march build, and to check back early to mid Feb for more info.

So as long as that hasn't blown out to a 2018 build date or something, I would be happy to see a VIN# in Feb, build March, and HOPEFULLY delivery in like May/June.... I'm trying to be optimistic here, surely waiting a month + at the docks isn't some initiation procedure for the Australian Mustang, and they can get over that issue soon.

Regular black wheels, and no faded stripe, or black roof.....tried to make it simple for them!

So sick of explaining to friends who ask why my car does not exist... some are now convinced I am BS'ing and never ordered the car :lol::lol:



Anyway, I hope you can get some info about your car, its annoying to be told later dates than originally lead to believe, but some actual information from Ford AU definitely helps alot!....even if it isn't much.

I'm a 4-mar Order and have had Vin for months, originally a dec build, now late Feb build with May delivery. Still waiting on a window sticker...

I order mine on Feb 11th got vin number in November was supposed to be 14th Dec, build was then told Jan then Feb now nothing. Still no confirmed build date or window sticker rang dealer yesterday and was told was a May delivery could be June.

That's rubbish. How can they give you a VIN then suddenly have no build? It's usually around 4 weeks from the VIN issue that you have a build scheduled.

Have you tried contacting Ford AU Facebook?

June delivery on a February order is crazy. Your order was literally 11 days after mine.
