Is there a site that can give me the specific specs of my car using the VIN? Mostly curious about the rear end ratio- its the 3.7 V6, and I expect its an open rear end? Also looking for a spare tire, found one on Ebay and next wondered if most any scissors jack that closes completely will work on the 2015 Mustang.

First two are easy enough without a build sheet. Jack the back end up. Put the tranny in neutral. Mark a spot on the drive shaft. Turn the back wheels through one full turn and count the times the drive shaft mark comes around.

As for LSD or a peg-leg, put one rear wheel on slippery and one on dry. Goose it. If slippery spins, it's a peg leg. If the car moves out as it should, it's LSD.

Maybe stop in your local dealer and see if they can print out a copy of the window sticker, or goto the parts department and see if they can pull the gears up by vin, they should be able too.

If you are jacking up the rear to turn the wheels and count driveshaft rotation, observation will tell you whether or not it is limited slip.
If you turn one wheel, and the other turns in the opposite direction, it is an open differential. If they both turn in the same direction, it is limited slip.
